Overview
Job Description – As an industrial engineer you will work on a team of industrial engineers supporting a production team in the execution of program deliverables.
Responsibilities- Support cross-functional improvement efforts for a production area.
- Identify areas of focus for production improvement across a wide scope.
- Perform observations and time studies to support cost driver analysis and process improvement.
- Use visualization and data analytic tools to analyze production processes.
- Apply Lean and Six-Sigma practices to production and lead major improvement efforts.
- Assist in new product development and proposal efforts with data analysis.
- Bachelors degree or relevant years of work experience.
- Understanding continuous improvement initiatives and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Lean Six-Sigma
- Green Belt certification
- Experience in data analytics
- Understanding of Earned Value management

Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $63,800 - $112,470. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
