We are seeking a seasoned and innovative Sr. Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. This permanent position offers a unique opportunity to utilize and expand your engineering skills in a fast-paced, challenging environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Civil Engineering with a focus on Erosion Control, Hydrology, Drainage, EIT, E.I.T., Sewer, Roadway, and Structural Engineering. With over 5 years of experience in the field, the candidate will be expected to lead complex projects, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the overall success of our engineering endeavors.

Responsibilities

As a Sr. Civil Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

1. Leading and coordinating the design and implementation of civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
2. Developing and reviewing detailed designs for various structures and installations such as roads, sewer systems, and drainage facilities.
3. Conducting in-depth analyses of potential risks and challenges, and devising effective mitigation strategies.
4. Implementing erosion control measures and ensuring adherence to all environmental regulations.
5. Utilizing advanced knowledge of hydrology and drainage systems to create innovative solutions for water management and conservation.
6. Collaborating with project managers, architects, and other engineering professionals to ensure project success.
7. Mentoring and guiding junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
8. Keeping abreast with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes.
9. Preparing detailed reports and presenting project updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications

To qualify for this exciting opportunity, you must possess:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's Degree will be an added advantage.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Civil Engineering, with a focus on Erosion Control, Hydrology, Drainage, EIT, E.I.T., Sewer, Roadway, and Structural Engineering.
3. Professional Engineering (PE) license or Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification.
4. Proficiency in using civil engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Hydro

CAD.
5. Exceptional leadership and project management skills.
6. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
9. Willingness to stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements.
