What You Will Be Doing:
This position will be part of the Aircraft Maintenance Team supporting U-2 Avionics Technical Refresh (ATR) and Programmed Depot Maintenance (PDM) Operations at Beale Air Force Base California. Performs the inspection of aircraft for functional operation and conformance to government and company standards and specifications. Inspects the installation and operation of electrical, avionics, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, oil, and emergency systems and other parts and equipment of the aircraft.

Ensure aircraft are in good mechanical condition and safe for flight. Ability to plan/conduct Process Compliance Surveillance Program (PCSP) audits. Ability to conduct incident and/or mishap investigation audits, prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information, and trends including failed process, recalls, corrective actions, and validations. Further Information About This Opportunity: MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Interim clearance to start with the ability to obtain a Final Secret Clearance. Considered candidates must be capable of working first (1st), second (2nd), or third (3rd) shift(s) and weekends dependent on customer needs.

Physical Requirements:

This position may include certain required health screenings and immunizations. Position may also require extended work hours. Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms. Basic Qualifications:

The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:

- Minimum 1 year of quality assurance experience on aircraft.

- Minimum 3 years aircraft operations experience.

- Experience in reading and comprehending blueprints, engineering specifications and drawings, technical data and planning documents.

The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from other candidates:

- Airframe & Powerplant License.

- Previous U-2 experience.

- Experience with AS9100 Quality systems.

- Experience with DCMA 8210 Contractor's Flight and Ground Operations.

- Knowledgeable of Safety, Tool Control, Foreign Object Damage (FOD) Prevention, Supply, Hazardous Material (HAZMAT), Quality, and Security programs. Aircraft PDM experience.

- Experience in aircraft quality processes and procedures.

- Experience in aircraft crew escape systems (i.e. canopy and ejection seat). Security Clearance Statement:
