An Interim Secret Clearance is required. This position will be part of the aircraft maintenance team supporting the F-35 at Edwards Airforce Base, CA flight test Site. As a team member you will be involved in maintaining all aspects of the aircraft to include F-35 scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, aircraft modification, inspection, wire repair, and troubleshooting.
Minimum 5 years broad hands-on working experience in a 5 or 7 skill level USAF AFSC, Navy NEC, or Marine MOS avionics discipline or equivalent commercial experience such an FAA instrumentation license or 3 years F-35 specific avionics experience. Experience with reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints and maintenance instructions. Experience with Tool Control, FOD, Supply, HAZMAT, Training, Quality, and Security programs.
Experience with Maintenance Information Systems such as Electronic Maintenance Instructions, Aircraft Forms Documentation, and Supply Chain Management.
Previous flight test or military fighter F-35 aircraft maintenance experience in instrumentation and or avionics a plus. Proficient in wafer and hot air soldering. Possess an ability to work in a diverse work culture environment. Ability to develop work schedules and assign tasks.
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. This position requires a Secret security clearance.
