Position SummaryAn Interim Secret Clearance is required.
This position will be part of the aircraft maintenance team supporting the F-35 at Edwards Airforce Base, CA flight test Site. As a team member you will be involved in maintaining all aspects of the aircraft including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, modification, inspection, wire repair, and troubleshooting.

Minimum
Education Required:
High School/GED
Job Category: Technician
Basic Qualifications- Minimum 5 years of broad hands‑on experience in a 5 or 7 skill level USAF AFSC, Navy NEC, or Marine MOS avionics discipline, or equivalent commercial experience such as an FAA instrumentation license or 3 years of F‑35 specific avionics experience.
- Experience with reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and maintenance instructions.
- Experience with Tool Control, FOD, Supply, HAZMAT, Training, Quality, and Security programs.
- Experience with Maintenance Information Systems such as Electronic Maintenance Instructions, Aircraft Forms Documentation, and Supply Chain Management.
- Previous flight test or military fighter F‑35 aircraft maintenance experience in instrumentation and/or avionics.
- Proficient in wafer and hot air soldering.
- Ability to work in a diverse work culture environment.
- Ability to develop work schedules and assign tasks.
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time. The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to employees. Schedules range from a standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off.
