Industrial Engineer Manager, CIP Engineering

Responsibilities

• Delivering safe, effective, and cost-efficient solutions built on best practices.
• Driving innovation to streamline operations and solve challenges.
• Implementing current business projects required to expand business or address poorly performing operations.
• Tracking and maintaining individual engineering metrics to meet or exceed performance goals.
• Supporting operations to meet budgeted operating profits and cost reduction objectives.
• Keeping informed of best-in-class tools and techniques needed for solution design.
• Analyzing workflow to ensure accuracy and ability to execute.
• Documenting and communicating common processes for all distribution functions within scope of responsibility.
• Educating team in LEAN practices and facilitating LEAN methodology in collaboration with global team.
• Assisting with developing and rolling out strategies and projects and determining feasibility.

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering (IE), IE Technology, or relatable accredited engineering degree.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a supply chain (warehouse/4walls) environment.
• Prior leadership positions directing Logistics Engineers in 3PL/supply chain environment.
• Advanced knowledge of statistics.
• Proficiency in MS Office Applications with advanced knowledge of Excel, Access and Power BI.
• Insight into a Warehouse Management Systems allowing for understanding of system capabilities.
• AutoCAD.
• Lean methodologies.
• Six Sigma tools.
• Knowledge of various storage methodologies as well as material handling equipment.
• Storage and process design.

Demonstrates expertise in Lean Methodologies and Six Sigma tools to drive operational efficiency and cost reduction. Proficient in analyzing workflows and implementing Warehouse Management Systems to enhance performance metrics and support logistics operations.
