Anheuser-Busch seeks a Steam Plant-Boiler Operating Engineer to ensure safe, reliable operation of high-pressure boilers, steam systems, and related utilities at our beverage production facility. You will monitor and optimize boiler performance, conduct water chemistry testing and treatment, perform preventive and corrective maintenance on boilers, pumps, valves, and controls, and respond to alarms or system upsets. Partner with Engineering and Maintenance to improve energy efficiency, reduce downtime, and support capital projects in a fast-paced, safety- and quality-focused environment with growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate and monitor high-pressure boilers, steam, and auxiliary systems for brewery operations
- Conduct routine inspections, rounds, and performance checks to ensure reliable utilities supply
- Perform boiler water chemistry testing and treatment; adjust dosing to maintain specifications
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on boilers, burners, pumps, valves, and controls
- Respond to alarms, troubleshoot equipment issues, and restore systems to normal operation
- Document operating data, maintenance activities, and work orders in CMMS systems
- Collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance on reliability, energy reduction, and capital projects
- Adhere to all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements for boiler and pressure vessel operation
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve system efficiency
- Coordinate with production teams to meet utility demand in a 24/7 manufacturing environment
