Company has an immediate need to fill a mid-level civil engineering position. As a member of our team, the successful candidate will perform a variety of Civil and Water Resource planning and design tasks for projects requiring the following skills/experience:
- Foundational experience as a project engineer producing final design products and study analyses and deliverables
- Good communication skills with staff and with internal and external clients
- Good organization habits, time management, and budget management
- Good record of project successes as demonstrated by repeat business from one or more clients
- Good references
- Client relationships are a plus, but not a requirement; we'll consider candidates from outside our area willing to relocate
What you bring:
- BS degree in Civil Engineering
- PE Registration in California, or ability to obtain CA registration within 1 yr
- 4-8 years of experience in the water resources field
- Experience with GIS, AutoCAD, and Civil3D is required
- Potable drinking water experience
Additional capabilities desired but not required include:
- Water supply design (pipelines, pump stations, storage tanks, etc)
- Levee design
- Hydrologic/Hydraulic modeling (HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HEC-FDA, Info Water, etc.)
