Overview
We're looking for a Narrative Game Designer to help shape how story is experienced through gameplay on an unreleased live-service MMORPG based on a high-profile IP, from early development through launch and ongoing live operation.
In this role, you'll collaborate on translating creative vision into interactive narrative experiences that feel earned, coherent, and scalable within a live game environment. You'll work closely with the Creative Director to develop narrative concepts from abstract ideas into structured, playable gameplay systems, and collaborate directly with developers to ensure narrative designs are clearly communicated and implementable.
You won't be expected to write code, but a strong general understanding of game development and how design is implemented is essential to succeed in this role. This is not a pure writing position. It's ideal for someone early in their career who understands games as systems, enjoys turning ideas into structure, and is comfortable working across creative and development teams to bring narrative into online games in a practical, scalable way.
