Poker Dealer; Part-Time

Position: Poker Dealer (Part-Time)
Location: Jamul

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

* Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all guests and team members.

* Deal poker games accurately and efficiently while following established game procedures.

* Handle chip and cash transactions quickly and correctly.

* Observe or receive wagers and settle outcomes in accordance with poker rules.

* Maintain game integrity and protect company assets at all times.

* Ensure guests understand the rules of the game and adhere to poker room policies.

* Collect rake and promotional funds according to guidelines.

* Serve as chip runner as needed.

* Deal in poker tournaments as assigned.

* Notify Table Games leadership of any irregularities or guest concerns outside your authority.

* Provide guests with game instructions upon request.

* Adhere to all regulatory, departmental, and company policies.

* Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.

* Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

* Must be at least 21 years of age.

* High school diploma or equivalent required.

* Completion of dealer training or previous casino dealing experience required.

* Must be fast and accurate in handling chips and cash.

* Six (6) months of customer service experience preferred.

* Must successfully complete an audition demonstrating dealing proficiency.

* Must have strong math skills and the ability to compute outcomes quickly.

* Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.

* Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.

* Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
