Slot Attendant (Havasu Lake, CA; Lake Havasu)

POSITION: Slot Attendant
DEPARTMENT: Slots
REPORTS TO: Slot Director

• Provide excellent customer service for the Casino guests
• Ensure jackpots are attended to quickly
• Maintain minimum machine downtime on the slot floor
• Be friendly and courteous to guests at all times
• Attend to jackpot and hopper fills as per procedures
• Ensure all equipment functions properly and efficiently
• Report any malfunctions immediately
• Address coin jams in the hopper and coin comparator immediately
• Conduct minor technical repairs
• Know all machine instructions and codes
• Answer calls for assistance from customers promptly
• Perform additional duties such as serving drinks to players
• Perform any and all other duties as assigned

• 21 years of age or older
• No felony convictions
• Submit to a pre‑employment drug test and qualify for gaming license
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous slot and customer service experience preferred
• Stand, walk for long periods up to 4 hours at a time
• Lift 60 pounds repeatedly and assist in lifting 200 pounds on occasion
• No color blindness
• Good finger and manual dexterity, including frequent grasping, bending, and reaching
• Perform repetitive motions, with excellent hand‑eye coordination

Important attributes of any employee of the Havasu Landing Casino and Hotel include personal appearance and public relations. Each employee is expected to be well‑informed about the casino, pleasant, courteous, cooperative, and to act in a manner that commands respect from co‑workers and all other personnel. An optimistic attitude, patience, and tolerance will help the employee in nearly all situations at the casino.
