Position: COUNT TEAM SUPERVISOR

Responsibilities include supervising the Count Team Staff, protecting the Company's assets, and accounting for all funds related to the validator cans in slots, pit games drop, poker games, arcade money and all other gaming operations pursuant to the minimum internal control standards (MICS). Responsibilities also include ensuring that all Graton Gaming Commission procedures and Company policies are followed, and providing accounting with the appropriate paperwork, which provides the slot and games revenue information.

Functions

Responsible for practicing, supporting and promoting Graton Resort & Casino's Company-wide culture and demonstrating Graton Resort & Casino's Service Standards at all times.

Ensure that work is done in a timely manner, which includes participating in the count.

Ensure that money is sorted by denomination, totals are verified, figures are recorded in stiff sheets, and balance the figures to the required documentation.

Ensure compliance with the system of internal controls, gaming regulations, and minimum internal control standards (MICS) to ensure department procedures are followed and any discrepancies are documented.

Prepare, in a timely and accurate fashion, all paperwork that is turned in daily to accounting, including, but not limited to daily win/loss reports.

Responsible for ordering supplies.

Schedule Count Team department Team Members, and conduct performance appraisals, interviews, and corrective counseling for all Count Team Attendants.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.

One (1) year experience as a Count Team Attendant.

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Strong mathematical skills with or without a calculator.

Experience using a computer and other data processing equipment, printer photocopier, calculator, and other adding machines.

10-key by touch.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Must be able to handle multiple tasks, and establish priorities effectively.

Must be able to access all areas of the casino as part of the requirements to perform duties as listed above.

Flexible working hours and schedule required.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds with or without assistance.

Ability to stand for duration of shift.

Manual dexterity to perform job related functions. Pushing and pulling needed with carts.

Starting at $69,000 Annually
