The Athletic Center Front Desk Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional member service while supporting daily operations across the Athletic Center including the Racquets facilities, Gym, Pool and Kids Club. This role ensures a welcoming, organized, and safe environment for members and guests.
Note:
Kids Club responsibilities are assigned only to employees who maintain current CPR, First Aid, and AED certification.

- Proficiency in club management software and basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)

- Knowledge and ability to perform required role during emergency situations.
- Knowledge of child supervision best practices and the ability to respond appropriately in emergency situations, including proper use of CPR, First Aid, and AED certification
- Answer incoming calls promptly, route them appropriately, and record accurate messages for members and staff
- Greet members and guests in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner
- Utilize club management software to coordinate reservations, bookings, and daily scheduling activities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and surrounding areas, including the gym, pool, Racquets Shop, and courts
- Conduct routine walkthroughs of club facilities to ensure members and guests are properly checked in and in designated areas
- Provide accurate schedules, directions, and club information to support a high level of service
- Monitor and report unauthorized individuals to ensure safety and security
- Manage traffic flow in the lobby and reception area to maintain smooth and professional operations
- Ensure appropriate background music is maintained throughout designated club areas
- Enforce club policies, including dress code guidelines, in a courteous and consistent manner
- Maintain adequate inventory of front desk supplies
- Oversee lost and found operations, including tracking and returning items
- Follow opening and closing procedures to ensure the facility is properly prepared and secured
- Coordinate with Facilities Maintenance to report and follow up on repair needs
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Manage court, clinic, lesson, and event reservations in person, by phone, or via email
- Promote racquets programs, clinics, tournaments, and events to enhance member engagement
- Provide clear directions to members and guests regarding court assignments
- Assist the Director of Racquet Sports with reporting, inventory, pricing, promotions, and discounts
- Provide day-of support to coaching staff by communicating lesson arrivals, schedule updates, and cancellations
- Provide personalized assistance with Racquets Shop merchandise selection and purchases
- Process retail transactions and fulfill special orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and inventory standards in the Racquets Shop and storage areas
- Rotate stock and maintain merchandising displays
- Collect applicable fees from members and guests upon arrival
- Supply towels, cups, and ice as needed
- Support tournament operations, including setup, staging, and scoreboard management
- Communicate member feedback and concerns to club leadership
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
