Position: Client Relationship Consultant 1 (Banker) - Bishop, CA
Location: Bishop

Overview

Client Relationship Consultant – U.S. Bank – building relationships with customers through in‑person, appointment, and virtual channels to provide best counsel with a digital‑first mindset.

Responsibilities
  • Build and foster client relationships through proactive outreach, follow‑up, and education on available deposit and loan products and services.
  • Assess and attend to customers’ banking needs, gathering and processing account information and making suitable product recommendations.
  • Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications.
  • Provide a consistent optimal client experience, including greeting clients and processing basic transactions.
  • Maintain working knowledge of consumer and business banking products, digital services, and training partners to best serve clients.
  • Leverage resources and technologies to optimize the client experience and deliver operational excellence.
Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one to two years of retail banking or related experience.
  • National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z.
  • Background checks, including criminal and credit history, consistent with NMLS requirements.
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Proven ability to build and nurture client relationships.
  • Effective engagement and communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems.
  • Customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience using and demonstrating digital products and self‑service technologies.
  • Proactive and reactive recommendation skills that meet customers’ needs.
  • Experience in the financial services industry.
Location & Work Expectations

Position requires working from a U.S. Bank location for all scheduled work days.

Salary
