Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team as dedicated year‑round Turbo Tax Local Service Experts in one of our new Turbo Tax locations across the United States. This unique opportunity combines tax expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and community engagement to help customers navigate their tax needs. As a Turbo Tax – Local Service Expert, you will serve as a trusted advisor, empowering customers to achieve positive financial outcomes while supporting Intuit’s mission of “Powering Prosperity Around the World.”

In this role you will work on‑site from a Turbo Tax location as part of a collaborative team of financial experts, serving in‑person and virtual customers who use Intuit Turbo Tax products. Your primary focus will be full‑service tax return preparation, providing expert tax advice, calculations, and software support. You will also act as the connective tissue between your customers and a broader team of specialists covering business tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, and advisory services.

Non‑exempt and requires onsite presence at a Turbo Tax location in the United States. Weekly hours: 20+ hours, Monday through Friday, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time. Operating hours may scale up during peak tax season.

Provide Tax Expertise – Give hands‑on tax advice and complete preparation services for Turbo Tax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations (e.g., personal and business income, deductions optimization, amendments). Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax‑planning advice. Utilize resources such as government websites, professional tools, and team expertise to deliver accurate tax solutions in personalized everyday language.

Be a Proactive Community Ambassador – Embody a “community ambassador” and “business owner” mindset to actively build and grow a new local customer base for Turbo Tax. Identify and pursue prospects through targeted outreach, grass‑roots marketing initiatives, referral networks, and community partnerships. Serve as the local face of Turbo Tax, converting new prospects into loyal, long‑term clients. Organize and lead local events such as financial literacy workshops, community pop‑ups, and networking gatherings to create consistent opportunities for customer engagement and brand awareness.

Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem – Act as a trusted guide for every client by developing a deep understanding of their complete financial picture and connecting them with Intuit solutions best positioned to move them forward. Identify opportunities to introduce clients to complementary services such as bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma that meaningfully address their needs.

Build Relationships – Connect with people, demonstrate understanding and sensitivity to their financial concerns, and build long‑term trust that turns a one‑time transaction into a loyal, multi‑year relationship.

Deliver a Best‑in‑Class Customer Experience – Create an exceptional customer experience, professionalism, and genuine interest in helping clients achieve their financial goals (e.g., saving for retirement, college funds, weddings, or vacations). Interact with customers both in‑person and through Intuit’s state‑of‑the‑art video communication tools. Address client inquiries while helping them overcome tax‑related challenges.
