US Department of Defense - - Responsibilities:
Respond to emergency calls and other calls for service during watch;
Conduct preliminary investigations relating to incidents aboard installations;
Gather and analyze facts, seize and protect evidence, take statements, interview witnesses and others involved;
Perform law enforcement duties at fixed posts throughout the installation;
Check identification cards, badges, and/or vehicle decals; inspect packages and belongings for controlled areas;
Set up and conduct checkpoints/roadblocks at various locations throughout the installation
