Location: Bridgeport
US Department of Defense - - Responsibilities:
Respond to emergency calls, complaints, and other calls for service during watch.;
Conduct preliminary investigations relating to incidents aboard installations; gather and analyze facts; seize and protect evidence; take statements; interview witnesses and others involved; determine if facts warrant apprehension or other action.;
Perform law enforcement duties at fixed posts throughout the installation.;
Check identification cards, badges, and vehicle decals; inspect packages and personal belongings prior to admission into controlled areas.;
Set up and conduct checkpoints/roadblocks; perform traffic law enforcement; direct movement of vehicles and pedestrians; observe and report traffic safety hazards.
