State Audit Director Position

We are looking for a Director for State Government Audits to join our team in Woodland Hills, CA. This role will involve overseeing and conducting audits of various state government agencies to ensure compliance with regulations and policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing, accounting, and government regulations.

• Lead and manage a team of auditors in conducting comprehensive audits of state government agencies
• Develop audit plans and strategies to ensure thorough coverage of all relevant areas
• Review and analyze financial statements, records, and other relevant documents to identify risks and areas of non-compliance
• Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, recommendations, and corrective actions
• Collaborate with senior management to implement audit recommendations and monitor progress

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in auditing, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of state government regulations and compliance requirements
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
