Contract Specialist Security Clearance

Position: CONTRACT SPECIALIST with Security Clearance
Location: China Lake

Duties
* You will assist senior specialist in the negotiation and administration of contracts and orders between the Government and contractors from receipt of requirement through physical and financial completion.
* You will assist in reviewing purchase requests for completeness and clarity.
* You will assist in preparing pre-award documentation and solicits contractor offers under the guidance of a senior specialist.

* Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

* You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
* DA-03 - Contracting, Practitioner acquisition certification is required, the incumbent has 36 months to earn this certification. Incumbent must obtain and maintain certification in accordance with DoD Instruction 5000.66.
* Acquisition Workforce (AWF) members must complete 80 hours of Continuous Learning Points (CLPs) every two (2) years, in accordance with DoDI 5000.66.
* DA-02 - A Contracting Foundational acquisition certification is required, the incumbent has 36 months to earn this certification. Incumbent must obtain and maintain certification in accordance with DoD Instruction 5000.66.
* This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition

and category assigned to the position is required within established category time frames.
* This position is eligible for ad-hoc/situational telework at the discretion of management. Qualifications FOR DA-1102-02:
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all the following
* Reviewing transactions to ensure data is correct;
* Gathering and analyzing data to maintain logs, prepare reports and documents; AND
* Communicate accurately/efficiently in writing. FOR DA-1102-03:
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DA-1102-02 pay band (GS-9/10 grade level) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the functions listed below. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all the following
* Entering data into automated systems and reviewing transactions to ensure data is correct;
* Preparing written requirements; AND
