Retail Pharmacist

Perform all duties required by law in the dispensing of prescriptions. This includes SNF prescriptions. Supervises all ancillary personnel while on duty. Counsels patients and/or customers as required. 1-2 days per week consisting of 10 hours per day. Hours will include Saturdays and/or Sundays. Retail Pharmacy Only.

• Responsible for ensuring that billing is correct and oversees clerks and technicians in billing as needed.
• Interprets, clarifies, and fills prescription orders with no errors.
• Maintains all records including controlled drugs, inventory, and prescriptions.
• Ensure proper documentation as required by local, state, and Federal regulations.
• Supervises pharmacy technicians and clerks and coordinates workflow.
• Is willing and able to assist the PIC in onboarding new services to the community and is not afraid of a challenge.
• Other tasks and duties may be assigned as needed.

• Current and valid California Pharmacy License.
• BS in Pharmacy, Pharm D preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in both oral and writing.
• Strong attention to detail. Multitasking and ability to prioritize work.
• Good organizational skills.
• Has integrity, compassion, and empathy.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and, essentially, Prime Care (QS1) would be a plus point.
