Start Date: 02-16-2026

End Date: 05-16-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Sunday-Saturday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Day shift)

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Provide patient-centered occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients’ independence with activities of daily living
  • Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support safe discharges
  • Document progress and outcomes clearly and timely in the patient record
  • Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques, adaptive equipment, and home safety
  • Participate in care planning meetings and contribute clinical expertise to improve patient outcomes
Qualifications
  • Valid Occupational Therapy license (state licensure required)
  • OTR or equivalent credential preferred
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Comfortable working in a post-acute care setting and delivering compassionate, outcome-focused therapy
  • Strong clinical reasoning, documentation, and communication skills
Education
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) or related field
Knowledge & Skills
  • Skilled in patient assessment, ADL training, and therapeutic interventions
  • Experience with adaptive equipment selection and home-safety recommendations
  • Proficient documentation and electronic medical record use
  • Ability to collaborate across disciplines and teach patients and caregivers
  • Strong time management and caseload prioritization abilities
