Westlake Village, CA (Duration: 13 weeks, Shift: Day – 5x8-Hour 08:30 – 17:30)

• Assist orthopedic providers with patient care in an outpatient clinic setting
• Apply, remove, and adjust casts, splints, braces, and orthopedic devices
• Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and minor treatments
• Assist physicians during orthopedic procedures and clinical evaluations
• Educate patients on cast care, brace use, mobility restrictions, and post‑procedure instructions
• Maintain and prepare orthopedic equipment, supplies, and treatment rooms
• Perform cast room duties, including stock management and equipment cleaning
• Accurately document patient care and interventions in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
• Provide excellent patient service and support in a fast‑paced outpatient environment
• Float to nearby affiliated outpatient clinics on rare occasions as operationally needed

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an Orthopedic Technician
• Outpatient orthopedic clinic experience required
• Demonstrated proficiency in casting, splinting, and orthopedic support procedures
• Strong patient interaction and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable working in a high‑volume outpatient setting
• Flexibility to float between clinic locations if required
• First‑time travelers accepted

• Orthopedic Technologist Certified (OTC) – Required
• Must be certified through the National Board for Certification of Orthopaedic Technologists (NBCOT)
• Active certification must be in hand (no pending certifications accepted)
