Position OverviewAn outpatient rehabilitation center is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support licensed Physical Therapists in delivering high-quality rehabilitative care. This role focuses on helping patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and regain independence in a dynamic outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients
- Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising therapist
- Educate patients on exercises and at-home care programs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments and outcomes
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment
- Support patients in achieving functional goals and improved quality of life
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of California
- Previous outpatient or rehabilitation experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
