Role, Reporting, and Team Support for the Outpatient Physical TherapistThe Outpatient Physical Therapist reports to an Outpatient Rehabilitation Manager within a collaborative therapy department. The team includes nurses, therapy aides, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech‑language pathologists, physicians, case managers, and social workers. Responsibilities include comprehensive evaluations; individualized plans of care; manual therapy and therapeutic exercise; post‑surgical and musculoskeletal rehabilitation; balance and gait training; patient and family education and timely documentation;
and participation in interdisciplinary huddles that align with shared goals and seamless patient care.
