Pharmacist Opportunity
Immediate need for a talented pharmacist. This is a 13 weeks contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Alturas, CA (Onsite).
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify and dispense medications accurately.
- Review prescriptions for dosage, interactions, and contraindications.
- Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and safety.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate medication records using EPIC EMR.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Key Requirements and Technology
Experience:
- Active state pharmacist license required.
- Experience in a clinical or hospital pharmacy setting preferred.
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
