We are seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist to work in a high-volume reference lab with Kaiser Permanente in North Hollywood.

Requirements

* Licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist

* Proficiency in laboratory, chemistry, and medical laboratory procedures

* Must be available to work Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm, weekend work when needed

Responsibilities

* Conduct laboratory tests in the area of Chemistry and other assigned sections.

* Ensure accurate and timely reporting of test results.

* Collaborate with team members to maintain a high standard of laboratory operations.

* Perform complex automated and manual clinical laboratory testing, delivering accurate and timely results that directly support patient care.

* Independently manage quality control, quality assurance, proficiency testing, and instrument maintenance to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

* Troubleshoot laboratory equipment and test methodologies while identifying and resolving technical issues in a fast-paced clinical environment.

* Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and laboratory leadership to provide expert consultation on test utilization, methodology, and result interpretation.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $68.00/hr.
