Pay: $64.00 - $72.00 per hour

K.A. Recruiting is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) to join a small Critical Access Hospital in the beautiful Eastern Sierra Region of California. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed CLS looking to work as a true laboratory generalist in a close-knit environment where you'll have the opportunity to make a direct impact on patient care.

• Live in the scenic Eastern Sierra with easy access to Mammoth Lakes, Yosemite National Park, hiking, fishing, skiing, and year-round outdoor recreation

• Perform moderate and high-complexity laboratory testing in Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, Coagulation, Urinalysis, and Microbiology

• Analyze, verify, and report patient results accurately and efficiently

• Perform quality control, calibration, and routine instrument maintenance

• Troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation as needed

• Maintain compliance with CAP, CLIA, and hospital quality standards

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care

• Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) License required

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related scientific field

• Previous hospital laboratory experience preferred

• Generalist experience strongly preferred

• Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
