Join our dedicated team as a Lifestyles Facilitator/PA (DSP) with at least one year of experience, where your passion for enhancing the lives and experiences for individuals with developmental disabilities will make a meaningful difference. In this role, you will provide compassionate, person-centered, enhanced support and training to client/consumers including behavioral supports, assistance in achieving both their short and long-term goals, while assuring that all training and support provided is of the highest quality and consistent with all applicable regulations and standards.

• Provide direct supervision and support to clients with developmental disabilities.
• Implement Individual Community Plans (ICPs) and assist with achieving short and long-term goals.
• Foster positive relationships with clients, families, and other caregivers.
• Observe and report on client health and well-being.
• Assist clients with toileting and hygiene based on their individual needs (may include toileting, feeding, dressing, bathing and leisure activities, or other non-medical care services).
• Promote client independence and dignity while offering assistance with essential daily living activities.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with Program Director(s) and service coordinators.
• Timely completion of daily logs.
• Participate in program meetings, trainings, and staff development activities.
• Build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.
• Manage client schedules and document service-related activities.
• Identify and troubleshoot community barriers for clients.
• Assist with developing and updating client training programs.
• Implement Positive Behavioral Support strategies.
• Administer first aid and other basic care tasks.
• Maintain high level of personal hygiene and hygiene of client during hours of care. Prevent exposure of client to communicable diseases or hazardous conditions.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment for all.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid California Driver’s License.
• Ability to successfully complete fingerprint clearance.
• Pass pre-employment drug screening and maintain compliance with the agency's drug-free workplace policy.
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire, if applicable).
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Sensitivity to the needs of individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and their families.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds independently and more than 35 pounds with assistive devices.
• Ability to frequently bend, squat, twist, sit, stand, and move throughout the workday.
