Radiation Therapist Opportunity

Seeking experienced Radiation Therapists to join our Radiation Oncology team for 13-week assignments. These roles involve delivering precise radiation treatments and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient care excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and align patients utilizing various imaging techniques to deliver radiation therapy accurately.
• Assess patient condition during treatment sessions and communicate relevant findings to healthcare team members.
• Prepare treatment rooms including chart review, film checks, calculations, and electronic medical record entry.
• Perform patient set-up and CT scans for radiation therapy planning as required.
• Collaborate with radiation therapists and team members to coordinate treatment delivery and address patient needs.
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols and proper operation of Varian True Beam and MOSAIQ systems.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT and CA Radiation Therapist license.
• Possess a minimum of 3 years of Radiation Oncology experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in patient positioning, imaging, and treatment planning.
• Be certified in BLS.
• Experience working with Varian True Beam and MOSAIQ is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
