Looking for a rewarding school-based Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity in California?
Flex Care is hiring an experienced SLP for a full-time contract opportunity in San Lorenzo, California for the 2026–2027 school year. Join a collaborative school environment where you’ll work alongside multidisciplinary teams to help students achieve their communication goals while receiving dedicated support from Flex Care throughout your assignment.
Assignment Highlights- Earn $3,768.00 / Week
- 2026–2027 school year
- 37.5-hour work week
- District-wide role supporting students across all grade levels
- Primarily evaluation and consultation-based with minimal direct therapy
- Interviewing ASAP, fast hiring process
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current California Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Pediatric experience required
- School-based experience preferred
- Experience conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing speech and language services
- Knowledge of IEP development, documentation, and multidisciplinary collaboration preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, families, and support staff
- Comfortable working across multiple school sites throughout the district
- Must meet all credentialing, background check, fingerprinting, and district onboarding requirements
- This is an in-person position.
Must hold an active SLP-CCC license and MUST HAVE experience working with AAC devices. Will be primarily providing evaluations and consultations; very limited direct service (~90 minutes a year per student). This will be an itinerant position working with all grade levels.
