Papa John's is seeking a compassionate Senior Companion and Care Aide to provide non-medical support to older adults in their homes. In this Personal Care & Service role, you'll offer companionship, conversation, light household help, meal prep, and support with safe mobility and daily routines, helping seniors stay engaged and independent. You'll monitor general wellbeing, follow care plans, and promptly report concerns.
Ideal candidates are patient, dependable, culturally sensitive, and comfortable working independently while reflecting Papa John's people-first, respectful, and community-focused culture.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support to senior clients.
- Assist with non-medical daily living activities such as dressing, grooming reminders, and safe mobility support.
- Prepare simple, nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks (tidying, laundry, dishes).
- Follow individualized care plans and document basic daily observations as required.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' mood, behavior, or general wellbeing to supervisors or family contacts.
- Accompany clients on walks, simple errands, or appointments as approved.
- Promote client safety by following established protocols and using safe transfer and mobility practices.
- Respect client dignity, privacy, cultural preferences, and household rules at all times.
- Communicate clearly and promptly with coordinators, families, and other team members.
- Uphold Papa John's people-first, service-oriented culture in all interactions.
