This community mental health facility provides outpatient psychiatric services to children and adolescents and is seeking long-term locum tenens coverage from a child and adolescent psychiatric nurse practitioner. The facility operates on a hybrid model, supporting onsite care delivery across two locations in Vallejo and Vacaville, California. Dedicated support staff are in place to assist with clinical operations and patient care coordination.

California offers a range of experiences across its diverse landscapes, from the entertainment and cultural attractions of major metropolitan areas to the natural scenery of its many parks and recreational regions. Visitors may explore coastal destinations where wildlife tours and water activities are available, as well as inland areas that support outdoor pursuits including hiking and wildlife watching. The state's varied terrain provides access to a broad range of activities suited to a wide range of interests throughout the year.

The clinician will provide outpatient child and adolescent psychiatric services in a hybrid community mental health setting, working 2 days per week during day shift hours - 1 day onsite in Vallejo and 1 day onsite in Vacaville. Responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing ongoing medication management for child and adolescent patients. The clinician will utilize an electronic medical record system for documentation and will work in collaboration with dedicated support staff to facilitate coordinated patient care.
