School Behavior Technician

School-Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) | 2026–2027 School Year | Near Castroville, CA

This is a rewarding opportunity to provide individualized behavioral support while working alongside teachers, special education staff, and related service providers.

• 2026–2027 school year
• 32–35 hours per week
• Onsite assignment near Castroville, CA
• 1:1 student support
• Hourly pay: $29–$33, based on experience

• Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) under the guidance of the educational team
• Collect and document behavioral and academic data to monitor student progress
• Provide consistent one-on-one support throughout the school day
• Reinforce communication, social, and adaptive skills in classroom and school environments
• Utilize proactive behavior strategies and de-escalation techniques
• Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, BCBAs, and related service providers
• Foster a safe, structured, and encouraging learning environment

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
• Experience working with children or adolescents with behavioral or developmental needs preferred
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm, patient, and solution-focused in challenging situations
• Must meet all district hiring and background check requirements
