Well Resolve Therapy Assist Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist (OPT) to join our team in El Dorado Hills, California. Work EnvironmentThe position is based onsite at our El Dorado Hills rehabilitation facility. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including orthopedic surgeons, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation technicians, all of whom share a common goal of improving patient outcomes. Our facility is designed to facilitate effective treatment methodologies, offering a supportive space for both staff and patients alike.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical therapy needs, understanding their medical history and condition.
- Design and implement tailored treatment plans that include structured physical therapy sessions, targeted exercises, and pain management strategies.
- Utilize diverse therapeutic modalities such as manual therapy, electrotherapy, and therapeutic exercise to enhance mobility and strength, adapting methods based on each patient's unique situation.
- Provide education to patients regarding safe exercise techniques, rehabilitation procedures, and strategies for injury prevention, ensuring they are well-equipped for recovery.
- Document patient progress meticulously and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback, ensuring dynamic and personalized care.
- Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care plans, ensuring optimal outcomes and seamless communication regarding patient status and needs.
You will work primarily with orthopedic patients who are recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions affecting their musculoskeletal system. This includes athletes, post-operative patients, and individuals seeking rehabilitation for a variety of orthopedic issues. Your interventions will directly impact their journey to recovery and enhance their quality of life.
Qualifications- Must hold a valid Physical Therapist license in the State of California.
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate (DPT) or Master's (MPT) in Physical Therapy is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse patient populations and healthcare professionals.
- A commitment to continuous learning and a passion for patient care and rehabilitation methods.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, fostering communication and mutual support.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience specializing in outpatient orthopedic therapy, with a proven track record of developing successful treatment plans for varied patient challenges.
- Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification is highly regarded.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and rehabilitation management software.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
