As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your role will encompass a variety of essential responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and functional evaluations to determine each patient's strengths and limitations.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on the individual needs, setting measurable, outcome-focused objectives to monitor progress over time.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques, including joint mobilization, myofascial release, and soft tissue manipulation, to facilitate recovery and enhance functional mobility.
• Regularly re-evaluate patient progress and modify treatment plans to ensure the best outcomes.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in line with clinic policies and regulatory guidelines, utilizing electronic health record systems.
• Stay abreast of new developments in physical therapy practices and engage in continuing education to enhance clinical skills.

This role primarily focuses on patients seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic issues, including joint replacements, ligament tears, and sports-related injuries. You will engage with a diverse patient demographic, including athletes aspiring to return to their sport, elderly individuals rehabilitating after surgery, and active adults recovering from various injuries.

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications:

• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of California.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting. New graduates with clinical experience in orthopedics are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques and functional movement evaluations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate patients effectively.
• A collaborative spirit, eager to work within a multidisciplinary team environment.

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with:

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) for maintaining patient documentation.
• Advanced certifications in specialized therapeutic modalities (e.g., orthopedics, sports therapy).
• A background in implementing and managing group therapy sessions.
