Compensation: $50- $55 per hour
About the OpportunityWe are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant(COTA) to join a collaborative skilled nursing facility (SNF) rehabilitation team in Lakeport, CA. Working under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, you will provide hands‑on treatment that supports independence withdaily activities and functional performance.
Responsibilities- Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
- Assist patients with therapeutic activities, ADLtraining, functional tasks, strengthening, and coordination.
- Monitor patient response and communicate progress to the Occupational Therapist.
- Educate patients and caregivers within the established plan of care.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation.
- Collaborate with the rehabilitation and interdisciplinary care team.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Active CA COTA license in good standing, or eligibility for licensures.
- Current BLS/CPR certification as required by the employer.
- Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
- Strong communication, documentation, teamwork, and patient‑care skills.
