About the OpportunityWe are seeking an Occupational Therapist for a permanent opportunity in Lakeport, CA. You will evaluate and treat patients to improve independence with daily activities, functional mobility, safety,upper-extremity function, and overall quality of life while collaborating withan interdisciplinary care team.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and/or treat patients to improve ADLs,functional independence, safety, strength, coordination, and quality of life.
- Develop or carry out individualized occupational therapy plans of care within licensures scope.
- Recommend or implement adaptive strategies and therapeutic activities as appropriate.
- Monitor progress and communicate changes to thecare team.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies and safety.
- Complete timely documentation and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapyor Occupational Therapy Assistant program, as applicable.
- Active CA OT or COTA license in good standing,as applicable.
- Current BLS/CPR certification as required by the employer.
- Experience in the applicable setting preferred.
