effective medication therapy for patients. This role oversees
pharmacy technicians and interns, coordinates workflow, verifies and approves medications prior to dispensing, and maintains thorough documentation of patient care activities
. The Pharmacist assesses patient-specific needs, interprets clinical information, and provides age-appropriate pharmaceutical care while maintaining compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal pharmacy regulations.

This position follows a7-on/7-off schedule

12:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. during scheduled workweeks.
Banner Ocotillo Medical Center is a new, comprehensive medical center located in Chandler, AZ. The hospital has 124 beds with ample shelled space for future growth. The hospital offers key inpatient and outpatient services, such as emergency care, intensive care, endoscopy, cardiac catheterization, imaging, surgical and women's services. The hospital utilizes cutting-edge technology to improve safety and quality, including robotic surgeries, UV disinfecting lighting, and smart devices for all caregivers.
POSITIONSUMMARY
This position is responsible for the delivery of pharmaceutical care to patients using the medication use process. This position is accountable for documentation of all components of pharmaceutical care they deliver to patients. Oversees the activities of pharmacy technicians and interns, coordinating workflow and approving medications prior to being dispensed. Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients being served.
Must assess data reflective of the patient's status, interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements and provide pharmaceutical care based on those needs. Adheres to local, state, and federal laws regarding the profession of pharmacy practice.
