The Process Improvement Scheduler will serve as a subject matter expert on performance improvement methodologies This role provides education and consultation to physicians, leaders, and clinical staff, helping drive continuous quality improvement. Act as a change agent and champion for process improvement, driving a culture of excellence and promoting a patient-centered approach in all aspects of operations. Create and maintain a culture of continuous improvement by promoting best practices, providing training and coaching, and fostering a mindset of innovation.
Working at both a strategic and tactical level, this person will work with clinicians so clinicians’ schedules are built proactively and are accurate. The RHC Process Improvement Scheduler is responsible for developing and maintaining provider clinic schedules. This includes Requests off, change requests, updating schedule in Revenue Cycle and maintaining the schedules in the online scheduling software, as well as informing the RHC Schedulers and Leadership team of any changes.
We are located at 1065 Bucks Lake Road, Quincy, CA 95971.
Compensation For Benefited, Full-Time Pay Scale- Base Rate $27.62-$35.25 per hour
- Starting pay is determined using our clinical pay scales, which feature 13 steps recognizing up to 30 years of relevant experience.

Education- Lean Six Sigma or Process Improvement Certification
- Proven experience leading process improvement projects
- Solid understanding and application of data collection/analysis tools & methodologies
- Well-versed in process mapping, root cause analysis, statistical controls
- Experienced practitioner of quality & process improvement methodologies such as lean six sigma
- Excellent analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills
- Familiar with project management and change management concepts and methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Able to lead a project independently under limited direction and manage multiple projects simultaneously while thriving in a setting requiring collaboration and teamwork.
- Ability to transfer clients’ perceptions of problems into viable solutions. Utilizes diplomacy skills and flexibility in response to clients’ changing concerns
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Visio)
- Monitors Provider schedule change requests via “Provider Scheduling” Outlook distribution list.
- Notifies RHC Patient Services Manager and/or RHC Nurse Manager of any discrepancies or issues in the Provider schedule.
- Adjusts provider schedules in Revenue Cycle in a timely manner so as to avoid unnecessary rescheduling of patient appointments.
- Manages and executes strategic initiatives to ensure successful outcomes
- Conducts analysis, documents processes, develops and implements effective controls, and optimizes processes to increase operational performance and reduce costs
