DescriptionAmerican Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with EPIC experience and ARRT-R certification to assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Details- Works in the Cardiac Cath Lab unit
- Variable shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- EPIC experience required
- Assists in diagnosis and treatment of heart, lung, and blood vessel disorders
- Operates x-ray and physiological monitoring equipment, including C-Arm and angiographic injectors
- ARRT-R certification required
- Radiologic Technologist (RT) license required in state of practice, including CA and HI, if applicable
- Current Fluoroscopy license required in CA within 6 months of hire
- BLS certification required
- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- One year of cardiac catheterization experience preferred
- EPIC experience required
- Assists cardiologists and radiologists during special procedures, including administration of contrast media via catheter or direct injection
- Monitors, records, and evaluates patient vital signs throughout procedures
- Applies radiation safety standards, including collimation and patient protection
- Maintains strict sterile and aseptic techniques during procedures
- Responsible for maintenance and troubleshooting of cath lab equipment
- Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction; local pay rates are the same as travel rates
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) will not be considered

In compliance with state pay transparency laws, we disclose that the estimated weekly pay range for this role is $2,886 - $3,160. The $3,160 weekly pay shown in this posting, along with related figures, corresponds to the higher end of this range. Weekly travel pay includes tax-free stipends per IRS guidelines. Weekly local pay is fully taxable and therefore lower due to additional employer-paid taxes and related costs.
