Overview
Cardiovascular Technologist (Cath Lab Technologist) in Saint Helena, CA. This travel, temporary assignment commences 09/28/2026 for 13 weeks in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $2,678 to $2,803 per week, with guaranteed 40 hours. Shift: 5x8 Days. On-site duties focused in the cardiovascular cath lab. Hiring organization:

Short Term Acute Care Hospital travel assignment
- Aid physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of heart, lung, and blood vessel disorders by performing invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular and pulmonary diagnostic testing; operate imaging and monitoring equipment during procedures
- Set up, adjust, and safeguard specialized procedural equipment (eg, C-arm, angiographic injectors) and assist during diagnostic and therapeutic catheterization procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs throughout procedures; maintain sterile technique, adhere to infection control practices, and apply radiation safety measures including patient protection and proper collimation
- Maintain and troubleshoot physiologic and image-guidance equipment; perform routine preventive maintenance and report malfunctions; document results and ensure accurate recordkeeping
- Provide direct assistance to the Cardiologist and/or Radiologist during procedures and in the administration of contrast media; support team with complex or emergent cases and ensure EPIC documentation is accurate
- Licenses/Certifications:
ARRT-R (Radiography) required;
Radiologic Tech license in CA and HI required;
Current fluoroscopy license required in CA within 6 months of hire; CPR or BLS certification from an approved vendor - Education:
Associate’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience (Preferred) - Experience:
At least two years of recent catheterization experience; demonstrated scrubbing and monitoring experience with structural heart, vascular, diagnostic, and emergent cath cases; EPIC experience is a plus - Additional:
Must be able to work a Day shift schedule; CA fluoroscopy license due within six months of hire; strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced hospital cath lab environment
