Overview
This travel assignment is for a Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist) located in Willits, California. The assignment is a temporary travel position starting 09/28/2026 for 13 weeks in a critical access hospital setting. Compensation is $1,984 to $2,067 per week with guaranteed 48 hours per week. Shift pattern is 3 x 12-hour day shifts. This role involves clinical respiratory care for adult and geriatric patients and requires hospital-level independence with supervision as delegated.

Critical Access Hospital
- Assess patient needs and determine the appropriateness of prescribed respiratory therapies, including recommendations.
- Administer aerosolized and oxygen therapies and document therapy delivery in the patient record.
- Manage care for ventilated patients and monitor respiratory status per policy.
- Perform arterial blood gas draws as ordered and maintain related documentation.
- Support department operations, assist in training new staff, and maintain accurate electronic records and charges for each patient.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality care for adult and geriatric patients and participate in Epic documentation as required.
- Licenses/Certifications:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-CRT);
Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license for California; BLS; ACLS; NRP; PALS (all required). - Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent;
Master's degree preferred. - Experience:
Minimum 2 years of recent respiratory care or critical care experience. - Additional:
Ability to work in a hospital environment with adult and geriatric patients; available to float to nearby sites as needed;
Epic EMR experience is required.
