Physician Assistant
The organization is seeking a Temp-to-Perm Physician Assistant for a 13-week contract in Garberville, CA. The role involves delivering high-quality patient care in a clinical or urgent care setting with weekly compensation up to $5,600. Successful candidates may transition into a permanent position within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:Provide high-quality patient care in a clinical or urgent care setting
Perform physical examinations and diagnose conditions
Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications
Order diagnostic tests within scope of practice
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members
Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with regulations
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, preventive care, and health management
Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
Active California Physician Assistant license (or eligibility for reciprocity)
NCCPA certification required
DEA license (or willingness to obtain)
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and patient interaction abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Adaptability in a fast-paced or rural healthcare setting
Skills:
Minimum of one year of Physician Assistant experience
