Job Summary
Greet all guests upon arrival to the resort, ensure doors are opened in cars, guests are assisted out of the car, and welcomed to the property. Valet park cars for guests, and retrieve cars upon request.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Greet and welcome guests to the Resort.
- Safely park and or retrieve guests’ car into the Valet Parking area.
- Be able to efficiently drive a manual transmission vehicle.
- Ensure 4-Star/4-Diamond level service is delivered to all guests arriving at the Casino.
- Greet guest with a smile and proper greeting.
- Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Excellent verbal skills. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of classified information. Ability to tactfully and diplomatically deal with the public and staff. Must possess excellent business sense and high professional ethics. Must possess a high regard for guest service and team member relations.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma or GED required. Minimum one (1) to two (2) years’ experience in Resort Bell/Valet/Door Service operations. Casino experience preferred but not required.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATES & REGISTRATIONSMust undergo and successfully pass a background investigation to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Morongo Gaming Agency.
LANGUAGE SKILLSMust be able to read, write & speak English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence and to speak effectively with guests or team members of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and.
REASONING ABILITYMust have the ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form and have the judgment to decide which procedures apply to a variety of situations. Must reason with people effectively yet cordially.
PHYSICAL DEMANDSWhile performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to sit and often will stand or walk. The team member frequently is required to reach with arms and use hands to manipulate or feel. The team member might occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This position requires the team member to have the ability to hear and possess close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORKENVIRONMENT
The duties of this position are typically performed outside of the casino, thus exposing team member to occasional high temperatures and moderate noise.
WORKING HOURSBecause we are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, most positions require flexibility in scheduling and may require Team Members be available for evenings, weekends, holidays and special events. A typical workweek and normal work schedules may vary based on business needs and may include scheduled shifts Monday through Sunday. Position may require overtime.
