Indian Springs Resort and Spa is seeking a Food and Beverage Manager for our restaurant,
Sam's Social Club
. The ideal candidate will have exceptional guest service skills, the ability to motivate and lead a team, and strong wine and beverage knowledge to assist with wine sales on the floor. This position primarily involves evening shifts and reports directly to the F&B Director. It offers an exciting and dynamic opportunity.
The Food and Beverage Manager will oversee the operations of the restaurant, bar, and other food outlets, managing daily activities to ensure customer satisfaction, food quality, and service excellence while meeting or exceeding financial goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain a hands-on role with staff and guests, with a strong presence on the floor, performing administrative duties as needed based on restaurant volume.Manage payroll and staffing levels within budget, adjusting for business fluctuations.Assist in other food and beverage operations, including event spaces, houses, and pool operations.Market the restaurant through menu implementation, package deals, and promotions within company guidelines to increase in-house and local market share, aiming to meet or exceed sales and financial targets.Possess strong knowledge of food and beverage management principles, including managing people, handling difficult situations, and solving complex problems.Be passionate about food, service, and the quality of the dining experience, ensuring fairness of pricing.Be visible during key operational hours to support staff and guests.Implement a guest recognition program for local and repeat visitors.Address customer complaints promptly to maintain high satisfaction and quality standards.Oversee daily human resource functions: recruitment, training, coaching, performance reviews, conflict resolution, and discipline.Foster innovative solutions and stay ahead of industry trends.Treat all team members with fairness and respect, addressing staff concerns in a timely manner and following up on progress.Align with the division’s annual budget, business/marketing plan, forecasts, and objectives, collaborating with the back of house to resolve issues effectively.Additional Information
