Description:
The House Person is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of public areas, building maintenance and managing the daily linen inventory.
Le Petit Pali St Helena is situated in the charming Napa Valley town of St. Helena. It offers 24 picturesque guest rooms and 5 standalone cottages. Guests enjoy amenities such as complimentary daily Champagne Continental Breakfast, house‑made cookies delivered to rooms each night, Antipodes water and Baci chocolates, a sparkling pool and a sun‑drenched terrace.
Tasks at Hand- Clean rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner, broom and carpet shampoo machine in all common areas
- Clean rooms, hallways and restrooms
- Wash walls & ceilings, move furniture and turn mattresses
- Sweep, mop, scrub, wax and polish floors in all common areas
- Dust and polish metalwork in all common areas
- Collect soiled linen, receive linen supplies
- Remove trash collected by room attendants
- Walk all assigned floors at the beginning and end of shift to collect trash or soiled linen
- Refill par stock of linen on each floor
- Deliver towels, cribs, cots and other items to guest rooms on request
- Perform duties of housekeeping when necessary
- Sort linen, stock housekeeping closets
- Refill par stock of guest amenities and supplies on each floor pantry
- Help housekeeping with heavy lifting
- Clean all public areas following department SOPs
- Assist housekeeping with placement of roll‑way beds, extra beds, etc.
- Inspect condition of all furniture for tears, rips or stains; report damages to supervisor
- Respond to guests and colleagues in a friendly, helpful manner
- Maintain flexibility with scheduling; open to varied schedules each week
- Perform uniform guidelines and any other reasonable duties required by management
- Strong working knowledge of hospitality and passion for service
- Hands‑on approach and guest‑service orientation
- Strong knowledge of cleaning products
