The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail to ensure food orders are complete and well-presented before delivery. They must excel in delivering exceptional customer service to guests in guestrooms and the Café. Experience in food service is essential, along with efficiency in processing, setting up, and delivering food and beverages promptly. Clear communication skills are necessary for effective coordination with the kitchen and guests.

The candidate should be a team player with strong organizational skills to manage multiple delivery orders efficiently, and maintain a professional, courteous demeanor during all food delivery interactions.

• Ensure that all food items requested, and necessary supplies are obtained and delivered in a timely manner.
• Coordinate the delivery schedules of food and beverage orders to best accommodate the guests.
• Facilitate the immediate accommodations of guest requests.
• Serve beverages to guests upon delivery.
• Obtain food and beverage orders from any of the hotel outlets as requested by the guest.
• Follow all applicable safety precautions applicable to food service areas.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Treat guests with courtesy and respect.
• Ensure that all items are presented in accordance with department guidelines.
• Provide information on all outlet menus and their hours of operation.
• Perform side work to include, but not limited to filling sugar bowls, salt/pepper shakers, folding napkins and general organization of storage areas.
• Complete service preparation functions as required.
• Be familiar with upcoming events and related hospitality functions, bars, and deliveries.
• Assist with special events as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Know the location of all rooms, suites, and meeting rooms, as well as the best route for deliveries.
• Follow Harrah’s Resort SoCal policies and procedures.
• Clock guests check in and check out.
• Close guest checks upon delivery.
• Pick up trash and other related waste from hotel and other delivery areas.

• Basic English reading and writing skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner.
• Professional and pleasant appearance appealing to guests.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Pay: $19.50 an hour plus tips.
