WHAT YOU WILL DO (JOB SUMMARY)

Rush Creek Lodge is looking for an engaging Wellness Desk Attendant to join the Rush Creek Spa team and create a welcoming, professional, and clean environment for our guests. The ideal candidate is passionate about wellness and brings a warm and positive attitude to the wellness team. Wellness Desk Attendants engage with guests and staff throughout their shift, which requires the ability to provide direction as well as attentive, caring guest service.

Wellness Desk Attendants schedule appointments, describe treatments, check in guests, collect payments, order and serve food, provide spa tours, prepare selected treatments and assist guests with retail purchases. The Wellness Desk Attendant also shares responsibility for maintenance of and cleaning of the spa, which includes communicating needs with the supervisor or appropriate departments and teams. An important duty of Wellness Desk Attendants is engaging with our guests and enriching their experience through exceptional hospitality, as well as inspiring guests to continue their wellness journey when they head home.

Qualifications

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Directly provide exceptional, caring hospitality
  • Assist guests with check-ins for spa appointments
  • Finalize payments for Spa services
  • Seek feedback from guests to gauge and improve their experience
  • Oversee and audit guest scheduling to maximize guest usage and accommodation
  • Assist with answering phones and scheduling appointments
  • Audit emails from guests and respond to all guest correspondence
  • Develop service and product knowledge
  • Assist with ongoing and daily cleaning tasks
    • Remove slip hazards on wet room floors
    • Clean restrooms and guest areas
    • Vacuum or sweep carpet
    • Stock paper products, restrooms, towels
    • Empty trash receptacles, dirty towel bins
    • Clean locks and keep storage areas tidy
  • Prepare selected spa treatments
  • Move quietly throughout treatment areas, including hallways, opening and closing doors, and wet room
  • Attend Wellness Desk and Spa meetings as required
  • Communicate professionally at all times with all staff and management
  • Support team members and interns while fostering a positive work environment
  • Work safely, address/report safety issues, and use proper personal protective equipment
