Join GALLO as a Event Support Assistant and help bring memorable winery experiences to life. In this hands-on hospitality support role, you will prepare wine tastings and special events, coordinate supplies and equipment, support inventory needs, and help ensure event spaces are clean, organized, and ready for guests.

You will work closely with hospitality partners, caterers, property management, and team members to support smooth event execution from setup through tear-down. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys active work, takes pride in details, and is comfortable balancing event readiness, maintenance support, and customer-focused service.

• Associates Degree; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 1 year of event support, catering, restaurant or related hospitality experience.
• Required to be 21 years of age or older.
• Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Skilled in writing simple correspondence.
• Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.
• Required to frequently lift and move product and equipment weighing up to 60 pounds.
• Required to work weekends, holidays and have a flexible schedule including occasional evenings.
• Candidate is required to have a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record and reliable vehicle (if applicable) at the time of hire. This position will undergo a motor vehicle check (MVR) to confirm a history of safe and responsible driving. If needed, candidate must obtain the appropriate state driver’s license based on the position’s location within 30 days of hire.
• Required to travel to event venues via automobile.
• Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
• Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

• Associates Degree plus 6 months of event support experience; OR High school diploma or Stateissued equivalency certificate plus 2 years of event support, catering, restaurant or related hospitality experience.
• Experience in restaurant/service industry and experience writing routine reports and correspondence.
• Skilled in the use of a forklift, pallet jack and other mechanical lifting apparatuses, and skilled in the use of MS Outlook and MS Excel at a basic level.
• Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills, especially attention to detail, and experience dealing with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
