Le Petit Pali at 8th Ave is a 24-room craftsman-style hotel nestled in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea, steps from award-winning dining, boutiques, and Carmel's white sand beach. We offer bespoke lodging, layered with genuine charm, comfort, & unexpected luxury. We're looking for a top-notch Houseperson ready to keep our common areas clean, sanitized, and welcoming for guests and team members alike. You'll be a key part of keeping Le Petit Pali at 8th Ave running smoothly behind the scenes.

• Keep hotel common areas, hallways, and restrooms tidy, sanitary, and welcoming.
• Clean and maintain rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture, and wash walls, ceilings, and windows as needed.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, wax, and polish floors, and dust and polish metalwork throughout common areas.
• Manage linens — collecting soiled linen, restocking supplies, and maintaining housekeeping closets.
• Remove trash collected by Room Attendants and help with heavy lifting as needed.
• Deliver towels, cribs, roll-away beds, and other items to guest rooms upon request.
• Inspect furniture condition and report any damage to your supervisor for repair.
• Maintain a friendly, helpful demeanor and follow uniform guidelines.

• Minimum one year of experience in a similar role.
• Strong working knowledge of and passion for hospitality, with a hands-on, guest-service-oriented approach.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning products.

• Ability to stand or walk a minimum eight-hour shift, including bending and lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Flexible schedule, able to work a variety of shifts.
